I'm generally around a good portion of the time, mostly because I'm online in the solid 5 or 6 hour blocks that I have class. I may not be on AIM, but it's a fairly good bet that I'm compulsively checking the RP. Obsessed? Not me.
General Info:
I'm currently a sophomore at Princeton University, planning on majoring in Molecular Biology on the pre-veterinary track. I've got lots of really strange hobbies, ranging from fencing to singing to playing rugby to using exotic weapons. I'm totally approachable, though - I swear. For all my blustering, I'm really a nice person?
Oh, and I'm Batman-mun's twin sister. Fun fact.
Feel free to hit me up for anything you want - plot discussions, random squeeing, or just a discussion about anything and everything.
Characters:
Name:Kurama / Minamino ShuuichiFandom: Yu Yu Hakusho
Age: 1000+ / 19
Notes: If you're wondering why he's got two sets of stats, it's because this boy used to be a fox-demon, thousands of years old. Wounded in a heist gone wrong, he forced his soul into an unborn human - and took a new body. He's a martial artist and a plant manipulator, battle-hardened and with a keen mind for strategy. Which is strange, as his best friends are two headstrong human teenagers and a homicidal fire-demon. Regardless, he cares about them a great deal, and the four have been through hell and high water (literally) - leaving him free to live his life in relative peace with his family now. Well, if he can ever get back home.
Name: Shinomori AoshiFandom: Rurouni Kenshin
Age: 26
Notes: Shinomori Aoshi is a ninja. He might quite possibly be THE ninja - he was chosen as leader of his sect at 15, after all, in the middle of the war for control of Japan. He's cool, calm, and collected - often coming off hard or unfeeling to those who don't know him. But his subordinates are fond of him, and very loyal. And for good reason: he doesn't leave anyone behind. He's taken care of his clan since the end of the war - and the deaths of the four still protecting him does staggering damage. All he wants now is to get back home - and see that their deaths are not in vain.
Name: Alphonse ElricFandom: Fullmetal Alchemist
Age: 18
Notes: Alphonse Elric is calm, gentle, and kind - almost to a fault. He's also an alchemist - and quite an accomplished one, at that. His specialty? Transferring bits of his soul to other objects, thus controlling them - probably a remnant of his time as an armor-bound soul. Oh, that? That was the Equivalent Exchange deemed necessary for human transmutation - that, and one of his older brother's legs. That older brother - Edward, is his name - is about all Al has left, and he'd do
anything for Ed. Including becoming the Philosopher's Stone to try and restore his body. And leaving everything he knows and loves behind. As long as he has his older brother with him, there's nothing they can't do.
Name: The Disreputable DogFandom: The Old Kingdom Trilogy
Age: Unknown
Notes: The Disreputable Dog is a real dog, for all intents and purposes, and you'd find it hard to dispute that with all her weight pinning you down while her tail wags and her tongue runs eagerly all over your face. But, in reality, she's a fragment of a magical entity who hails from the very Beginning. It is partly in thanks to her power that her world - the Old Kingdom - has an ordered source of magic, called the Charter. It's thanks to this that she can do very un-dog-like things - shapeshifting, casting magic, talking. But it's also not really what she's all about - she's a troublemaker (hence, Disreputable), but one with a good heart. She's fiercely loyal, eager to please, and always ready for a new adventure. And scratches behind the ears. Those are nice, too.
Name: IggyFandom: Maximum Ride
Age: 14-15
Notes: Iggy's not really your average fourteen year-old boy. For one, he's over six feet tall - pale, slender, and totally blind. For another, he's got wings. Yeah, that's right - wings. Big white ones, thanks to the genetic experimentation he was forced to undergo. See, Iggy's what you might call an avian-human hybrid - his DNA is 98% human, 2% bird. He's an attempt by the government to create new forms of people - forms they might be able to use for their own purposes. But Iggy - and his Flock, his family, though they may not be related by blood - are having none of it. Years ago, they escaped the facility where they were being held, and they've been on the run ever since. And with 6 kids all running together, the oldest of whom is no more than 14 years of age? You can bet they get up to some trouble.
