Character Background

Chomesuke is a modified akuma created by General Marian Cross. As part of the modification, she is able to have her bloodlust suppressed, and because of this, she gives off a cheerful, friendly personality willing to help others no matter what the price. She meets Lavi, Lenalee, Miranda, Bookman, Krory, and the others when the little Cross search-party finally arrives in Edo. Because of the dangers that infest the isolated island of Japan, Chomesuke serves as their guide. Unfortunately, the modification doesn't last forever, and by the time the group finds themselves facing a massive battle, Chomesuke has reached her limit. In order to keep from attacking her friends, Cross had programmed her to self-destruct instead. However, it doesn't come to that end, and instead she sacrifices herself to give the party an advantage in their fight. Still going ka-boom, but for a good cause.

Chomesuke has two forms. Her natural akuma form (which kind of resembles a large golden marshmallow with arms) and the form of a young Japanese girl in a pink kimono.
