Emperor Peony IX

IN A NUTSHELL

Peony the ninth, emperor of Malkuth and best friend of Jade Curtiss. Not much is known about Peony, as he prefers a laid back life as far out of the limelight as possible. He was raised in Keterburg alongside Dist, Jade and Nephry. As a child he was bright, confident and easygoing- not much changed as he succeeded into the role of Emperor. Despite his friendly and optimistic appearance, his life has not been as easy as most would think. An empty mansion still stands in Keterburg, a reminder that he was unable to marry the only woman in his life he truly loved.

The only one who knows Peony deeply is Jade, and the emperor confides in no one else- Choosing to let the rest of the world see him as a joker and sometimes even a lecher (Just because he will never fall in love again, doesn't mean he can't appreciate!) However, when it comes to his country and people he is serious, and willing to sacrifice anything for the wellbeing of Malkuth citizens.

He also keeps animals called 'Rappigs" as pets and names them after those he cares about, or amuse him.
