The first thing we know of his past is that he was the General who found Dasiya Barry many years ago, while the other was much younger and he was still a General back then also. Upon discovering the boy was an accommodator to Innocence, he tried convincing the boy in a gentle manner to come with him. But it took him saving the seaside town from Akuma and him having to seem like a General instead of a friendly old man to convince the other to come along with him.
Soon, he trained Kanda and Daisya together as Exorcists, before each were able to start going off on their own for missions and he went back to looking for more accommodators, still considering the boys his students and children.
Eventually, General Yeegar was killed by one Tyki Mikk, an order was sent out to bring all of the Generals back ‘Home’ and his team went after him. While he was trying to divert the Akuma’s attention, there was a large attack on the city of Barcelona in which his students went and Daisya lost his life. A few days later, Kanda and Marie caught up with their Master, in which they told him what happened. Resulting in the General to mourn for his student and sending a drawing of the town the boy came from to him. Then with tears running down his face he said that God was still with them and they would find more exorcists.
Eventually, they came to the Ark in Edo, from which time he will be taken from.
Personality: Froi has two sides to his personality, there is the Artist and there is the General. The Artist, is friendly, easy-going, a bit of a dork who sees things outside of the box. A man willing to stop and draw the flowers while his students sit there and wait, because who knows if he will ever see that place again?
The General sides though, is much more serious, a power house wanting to get work done quickly and effectively. To the point and firm, willing to work hard and win the war they are in.
But no matter what, he is a deeply emotional man, crying easily and smiling largely.
Powers: His powers are that of an Exorcist, being aligned with the Innocence “Maker of Eden”, which consists of a Crucifix and a chisel that he uses to draw a piece of “Art” into the ground which takes the form of a large doll like creature that can easily destroy most large Akuma. His other ability with the Innocence is “Embracing Garden” in which he calls up a large garden to defend him or other people and push back enemies in a large garden with thorns.
