She has black, wavy hair and grey eyes. Her small stature is often misleading, since she's shrewd and highly intelligent.
When she leaves Pern (her world) she is violently in love with her Weyrleader (basically king of the Weyr), F'lar and is affectionate toward his dragon, Mnementh.
