Character Background
Before Lust's transmutation into a homonculus, she was a beautiful Ishvallan woman who lived happily with her love and people in the deserts to the East of Central. However, happiness can only last so long, and she fell to a fatal illness at a young age. In desperation, her love tried to bring her back to life using the alchemy forbidden to Ishval, but the creature that rose from the smoke was not the woman he had loved.

Despite this supposed failure of transmutation, the homonculus Envy appeared and fed the creature produced the red stones vital to their kind's survival, giving the newest sin the form she has carried for the rest of her existence. Lust has served Dante in order to gain assistance in her quest for humanity, and usually spends her time in the company of Gluttony, a less than intelligent and extremely loyal homonculus in the form of a rotund little man.

Lust is a master (or rather, a mistress) of the art of seduction, and uses her feminine wiles to get what she wants, how she wants it. Her techniques range from the sophisticated to the less than classy, but she always keeps her dignity about her, and executes every step in her fatal dance as elegantly as the viper she is. Unearthly beauty is only one feature this woman can use to poison those who surround her, in words, deeds, and thoughts.
