Sync the Tempest

Sync is the fifth replica in trying to make a copy of the original Fon Master Ion, who was dying of an unknown disease, as dictated by the Score. Fon Master Ion and Van gave the consent to the replication of the Fon Master. Seven replicas were made total, and the seventh replica was the most compatible with the original Ion’s Daathic Fonic Artes capabilities. The rest of the replicas were sent to Mt. Zaleho to be thrown into the magma, but Sync was able to escape, which proved that Sync was a brilliant strategist by being able to escape from Mt. Zaleho after just being born.

After his escape, Sync joins up with Van to help overturn Yulia’s Score. He trained vigorously to help attain the rank of God General, which is quite an achievement since he is the youngest of the God Generals, and earned the name ‘Sync the Tempest’. Sync is a skilled martial artist, and often subdues his opponents with rapid physical attacks, coupled with formidable Fonic Artes. He is even capable of placing a “curse slot” on an enemy. A curse slot is a rare ability that only a Fon Master can use. A curse slot stirs the memories inside of a person and helps manipulate their actions.

Sync usually wears a bird mask to hide his identity as a replica of the original Fon Master. He hates the fact that that he exists as “garbage”, that he wasn’t a good enough replica to replace the original Ion. He feels that his life has no purpose and that he is just an empty vessel, and hasn’t gained anything since he was born. With that, he also detests Van for the fact that he only lives to carry out Van’s needs. He also blames the Score for being stuck in this “pathetic life”. He dislikes Luke because he was born as a substitute, but he on the other hand was born as a “piece of meat”.

He hasn't made much activity since coming to Rivelata, other than kidnapping Ion on one occassion, and then handing him over to Van. Sync has spent alot of time just observing the way things are unfolding. He is starting to come to terms with Ion...slowly.
