Tsukiyono OmiThis is a featured page

OmiOmi was born as Mamoru Takatori, the son of Reiji Takatori, and lived with the family until he was abducted at a young age. His captors were positive that Reiji would pay ransom for the boy, but he refused to (reason being that Mamoru wasn't actually Reiji's son,) and Mamoru was tortured until a mysterious man came to rescue him. The mysterious man went by the name of "Persia." Mamoru was renamed Omi Tsukiyono and was raised to become a great assassin. He eventually joined Aya, Yohji, and Ken in the assassin group, Weiss. "By day," they work at a cute little flower shop.

His memories of his past eventually begin to resurface, having been stirred by mysterious kidnappings. The memories are devastating to Omi, and he suddenly finds himself having to overcome the feelings of being unloved and unwanted by the person who was supposed to love him. As painful as his memories are, Omi presses forward, ever optimistic and hopeful.

Eventually, he finds a damaged picture of himself and two others. This leads him further down a path of rediscovery, but results in the capture (and hunt) of himself and Ouka, a girl he'd befriended. As the pieces of his past begin to come together, Omi is faced with a difficult dilemma: does he remain loyal to Weiss, or pledge loyalty to his biological family? Torn between the choices he has to make, he saves his brother, Hirofumi Takatori, and winds up revealing to his team mates that he was his brother. Weiss' trust in Omi falters slightly, but Omi regains their trust after being captured by Hirofumi during Reiji's banquet and refuses to give any information about Weiss. Hirofumi was killed by Omi shortly thereafter.

As Omi and Ouka spend more and more time together, it's clear that they're in love. Their romance is shattered as Schwarz's Schuldig decides to play a few mind games. Schuldig tells Omi that assassins aren't allowed to love, and threatens to tell Ouka of his true identity. Things get worse when Schwarz kidnaps Ouka, and the truth finally comes to light: Ouka is revealed to be Omi's half-sister. After a brief, tearful reunion, Ouka is shot by a member of Schwarz and dies in Omi's arms.

Apparently, the poor boy's luck is nonexistent, as it seemed that directly after her death, he was whisked away to Rivelata.

RIVELATA
When he arrived in Rivelata, Omi made himself known to the inhabitants of the strange world. While he was lucky to have his teammates all present, the entry was ... pretty much swamped by Schwarz, as well. A short time later, he was visited by Nagi on the shore, and the two engaged in a brief battle that ended with Nagi running off with his journal. It was returned a few days later, a little worse for the wear, but still usable.

Jack Sparrow befriended Omi shortly after arrival (Jack's,) after offering to take Omi out to celebrate a late birthday. Omi was fascinated by Jack and his (somewhat "former") life as a pirate. Jack lived to follow his heart, and Omi admired that more than he could begin to explain. Up until Jack's disappearance, Omi found in him a good friend.

After Weiss lost both Aya and Ken to terrible circumstances, Omi lived alone in the Weiss house with Youji for quite some time. Ken's disappearance took quite a toll on him, but ever determined to pull through, Omi attempted to remain optimistic and looked forward to a bright future.

Now that Ken has returned, HE IS REALLY FREAKING HAPPY. HOMAN.

* ALSO one day soon were!Unicorn Farfarello will kill Omi in cold blood. Cuz that's what were flesheating unicorns do! That is, IF he feels like it.
